How do I know when a meal is done?Updated 8 months ago
Use a meat thermometer to measure internal temperature. Protein should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 ° F.
With most of our meals, the protein will be tender and shred easily when done. If you are unable to easily shred the protein, return it to your slow cooker and continue to cook in increments of 30 minutes or until is easily shreds. Keep in mind that results may vary based on the age, size, and brand of your slow cooker. Adjustments may be needed.
